How do I purchase an item or get the ball rolling on a custom piece?

Because each of our handcrafted pieces are built to order, we don't have an online store. But we would love to talk about your dream project and get you a quote! Please shoot us a message to get started!

How long until my custom piece is ready?

Once all of the details of your project are confirmed, we'll put your project on the docket and "save your spot" so to speak. The current turn-around time for project start-dates are about 6-8 weeks!  We realize that's more than average and we're doing our best to speed things up. But we so appreciate your patience and promise it will be worth the wait!

Do you provide shipping or delivery?

We absolutely deliver! Please shoot us a message for a delivery quote or shipping estimate.

Do you accept credit card payments?

We sure do! We simply ask that clients cover the additional 3% fee associated with credit card transactions.

How do you seal your tables?

Unless otherwise requested, each of our tables is sealed with 3 coats of polyurethane which creates a durable "shell" on top of the finish.

How should I clean my new handcrafted table or barn door?

It's important to remember that your new C&C piece has been built with real wood. With that in mind, please avoid harsh chemicals, waxes, or bleach. For routine cleaning, we recommend using a soft rag lightly dampened with water.

For periodical deeper cleanings, use diluted white vinegar or dish soap to disinfect the table. White vinegar is a gentle, yet effective cleaner, deodorizer, and mild disinfectant. Don't use furniture oil or polish, which can dull the urethane finish.

What kind of wood do you use?

Keeping our costs low means keeping our prices affordable. Because of this, our pieces are built with Knotty Pine, unless otherwise stated. Additional kinds of lumber are available upon request. Please contact us if you're interested in a project that calls for a different kind of wood-- we would love to help!

I found a design on Pinterest that I love, are you able to replicate it?

Although we can't guarantee that we will match an inspiration photo exactly, we promise that we'll do our best to capture the essence of the design you have in mind and bring it to life.

What does "Cavie" stand for?

You'd be surprised how often we're asked this! "Cavie" is our owner, Johnny Cavanaugh's childhood nickname -- and contrary to popular belief, it's not because he loves caviar.
