I’M INTERESTED IN HAVING YOU HELP ME RENOVATE MY HOME. WHAT’S NEXT?

We’d love to chat more! Each home is unique and each project custom. Please send us a message to get started and one of our onboarding team members will help you to get started on customizing the quote for your dream project!

how long does a home renovation take?

Just like each home is unique, there’s no standard timeline for how long a renovation project takes. We’ll start by working with you to create a “scope of work” and you’ll have a good idea at that point of estimated budget and timeline. Please note that we often book projects 3-9 months in advance, so even if you’re not ready to start your project today, reach out to us with a message to get your inquiry started with our onboarding team!

ARE YOU AFFILIATED WITH CAVIE INTERIORS?

Yes! We think working in family is way more fun! Husband and wife team, Johnny and Rachel Cavanaugh, founded together both Cavie & Co. and Cavie Interiors to create beautiful spaces in tandem. Cavie & Co. serves as the general contracting team for many of the Cavie Interiors projects as well as providing custom cabinetry and furniture pieces for many Cavie Interiors spaces.

I’d love to know more about custom furniture. How do I purchase an item or get the ball rolling on a custom piece?

Because each of our handcrafted pieces are built to order, we don't have an online store. But we would love to talk about your dream project and get you a quote! Please shoot us a message to get started!

How long until my custom piece is ready?

Once all of the details of your project are confirmed, we'll put your project on the docket and "save your spot" so to speak. The current turn-around time for project start-dates are about 9-12 weeks!  We realize that's more than average and we're doing our best to speed things up. But we so appreciate your patience and promise it will be worth the wait!

Do you provide shipping or delivery?

We absolutely deliver! Please shoot us a message for a delivery quote or shipping estimate.

Do you accept credit card payments?

We sure do! We simply ask that clients cover the additional 3% fee associated with credit card transactions.

How do you seal your tables?

Unless otherwise requested, each of our tables is sealed with 3 coats of polyurethane which creates a durable "shell" on top of the finish.

How should I clean my new handcrafted table, pocket door, or barn door?

It's important to remember that your new C&C piece has been built with real wood. With that in mind, please avoid harsh chemicals, waxes, or bleach. For routine cleaning, we recommend using a soft rag lightly dampened with water.

For periodical deeper cleanings, use diluted white vinegar or dish soap to disinfect the piece. White vinegar is a gentle, yet effective cleaner, deodorizer, and mild disinfectant. Don't use furniture oil or polish, which can dull the urethane finish.

What kind of wood do you use?

Keeping our costs low means keeping our prices affordable. Because of this, our pieces are built with Knotty Pine, unless otherwise stated. Additional kinds of lumber are available upon request. Please contact us if you're interested in a project that calls for a different kind of wood-- we would love to help!

I found a design on Pinterest that I love, are you able to replicate it?

Although we can't guarantee that we will match an inspiration photo exactly, we promise that we'll do our best to capture the essence of the design you have in mind and bring it to life.

What does "Cavie" stand for?

You'd be surprised how often we're asked this! "Cavie" is our owner, Johnny Cavanaugh's childhood nickname -- and contrary to popular belief, it's not because he loves caviar.
